Waken, the premium oral care brand, has announced its latest product – the Waken Sonic Toothbrush. Building on the brand’s reputation for innovative solutions, it has been engineered to deliver a superior cleaning experience while championing environmental sustainability at an industry-disrupting price point.
A game-changing mix of innovation and eco-conscious design, the Waken Sonic Toothbrush offers new patent-protected ‘Precision-Power’ technology, a long-life rechargeable battery and three cleaning modes.
Waken’s Sonic Toothbrush is also eco-conscious. The handle is made from post-consumer recycled plastic, the brush heads are crafted from bio-plastic produced using 100% certified renewable energy, and the soft bristles are made from castor oil.
One full charge supports up to 60 brushes, with a built-in two-minute timer to aid users in achieving the dentist-recommended brushing time.
The Waken Sonic Toothbrush comes in three colourways – graphite grey, dusty rose, and mint blue. Each pack is made from FSC-certified cardboard, contains no plastic packaging, and comes with 1x handle, 1x brush head, and 1x USB charging cord.
TheChicGeek says,
“This has been well thought out, particularly in terms of the more sustainable materials and the disposable elements like the brush heads.
Most electric toothbrushes look and feel different from a standard toothbrush. This seems to blend the two. It is like a regular toothbrush but with an electric cleaning injection.
The head is pretty big – I do prefer a smaller head for the back teeth – while the handle is very slim. It’s simple to use, easy to charge and there’s not much not to like. For the price, it is great, and nice to see new brands taking on the dominance of Oral B or Philips Sonicare.”
