“As only the 4th owners of Crombie in 200 years, bringing Crombie to Paris Fashion Week in collaboration with Wales Bonner is a special moment that marks the beginning of the next chapter in Crombie’s incredible and unmatched heritage.” Gordon Ritchie – Crombie.
Paris Fashion Week
Crombie made a notable appearance this evening at Paris Fashion Week, partnering with esteemed designer Grace Wales Bonner for an unforgettable catwalk show.
The collaboration was a seamless blend, with Wales Bonner skillfully merging luxury, history, heritage, and craftsmanship with contemporary youth culture—elements that are at the core of Crombie’s storied legacy.
As one of the world’s oldest and most iconic brands, Crombie, established in 1805, boasts a rich history that spans over three centuries and reaches across the globe. Renowned for its timeless elegance and superior quality, Crombie continues to be a symbol of sophistication and enduring style.
The Crombie Coats showcased in this debut collaboration have been meticulously handmade in Scotland. Crafted from lightweight wool sourced from English mills and adorned with luxurious leather and bamboo trimmings from Wales Bonner, these pieces exemplify the perfect marriage of tradition and modernity.

“I am always interested in reimagining heritage traditions and so was particularly excited about working with Crombie this season. It has been great to be able to develop some special coats, bringing a Wales Bonner sensibility to exceptional British manufacturing.” Grace Wales Bonner.
