The Melbourne-based travel brand that disrupted the Australian and US luggage market with its unique and considered approach to luggage brings its line of beautiful travel products to the UK for the first time.

Frequent travellers and founders, Athan Didaskalou and Richard Li both came from categories that focused on experience-based business and saw a category that was selling poorly designed products at extreme premiums – and wanted to fix it.

After a year of reading reviews to find out consumer pain points, planning, designing, and testing, they launched July in 2019, and with the perfect carry-on luggage, designed from the ground up in Melbourne. July has since built a physical store footprint, expanding to five stores across Melbourne and Sydney, with the brand’s latest bricks-and-mortar store opening in Bondi just last month.

July’s best-selling product, the Carry-On Light is the lightest double-wheel suitcase in the world, at just 3.9 lbs, yet with 32 litres of space, it is one of the largest with SilentMove 360° double spinner wheels, multi-stop telescopic handles, an unbreakable German polycarbonate shell and a lifetime warranty.

The brand also offers a range of checked luggage, including the newly launched heritage style Trunk, with twin latch locks and 95L capacity, as well as bags, backpacks and packing accessories and is regularly seen on the arms of personalities like Harry Styles, Chrissy Teigen and Apple Martin.

July sees luggage as an extension of personal style and is proud to offer customers a diverse range of beautiful colours, in neutral and statement shades. Personalisation is also a staple of July’s offering and customers can personalise their cases and accessories for up to 10 characters, in roughly 100 languages (including Chinese characters and Latin-based languages) with 11 different font styles and 28 colours.

In celebration of the launch, July will be offering personalisation to all cases throughout June for no extra cost.

TheChicGeek says, “Lighter luggage means more clothes and shoes, and who wouldn’t want that?! July has a stylish simplicity and also great visuals and colours to start every holiday that way it should be. July looks great for every month of the year.”
